Rapper Blueface, born Johnathan Porter in Los Angeles, has been handed a four-year prison sentence. This sentencing stems from a probation violation related to the 2021 assault of a security guard at a lounge in North Hollywood.

According to reports from TMZ, Blueface’s manager, Wack 100, revealed that while he had managed to suspend the sentencing for a few years, a recent arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia compelled a judge to impose the maximum sentence. Despite the four-year term, Wack 100 is optimistic that Blueface will be released in approximately 10 months, considering he has already served 440 days.
News of the sentencing has been met with emotional reactions. A video circulating online shows Blueface’s father expressing his distress upon learning about his son’s prison time.
Blueface was initially taken into custody on January 12, 2024, and was booked into the Van Nuys jail. Current jail records indicate he is now held at the Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles.
Beyond the probation violation case in California, Blueface faces further legal troubles. He was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada, on June 8, 2023, on robbery charges. These charges are linked to an incident on May 29 at the Palms Casino, where he is accused of stealing a woman’s cell phone. Adding to his legal woes, Porter is also facing attempted murder charges in connection to an incident that occurred in October 2022.
The legal issues extend beyond Blueface himself. Chrisean Rock, his former girlfriend and the mother of his child, is also currently incarcerated in Oklahoma due to drug charges. Her legal situation adds another layer to the complex narrative surrounding Blueface and his associates.
